PERSONAL

Born  in Vallejo, Ca and raised in a two parent home. Considered a diamond in the rough by those who know him well. Marcel grew up in a low income home that at the same time, was full of wealth. Meaning he always had what he needed. When he needed shoes, he never owned a pair of Air Jordan's but he did own a pair of "Air Gordon's" which worked just fine. Marcel grew up in a crime ridden community that was full of harsh life lessons, drugs, gangs, violence, poverty on one hand and on the other; family and church. He spent a lot of his younger days as a member of the Omega Boys Club, which outside of his parents, was the first place to instill values and belief in him.  He has a degree in Sociology which he put into play frequently with his work in developing and being a part of several programs for at Risk Youth in California, Nevada and Hawaii. Marcel was a decorated athlete in high school and college and was fortunate enough to sign a professional baseball contract. He has spent the past 10 years of his life volunteering, speaking to diverse groups and keynote speaking.

Marcel's life journey has included winning a battle with a potentially deadly disease called Valley Fever, been a victim of and conquered a bout with deep depression, lost his younger sister to Leukemia, his father to a battle with kidney failure and his brother to alcoholism. Despite life's punches, Marcel has been nominated for Who's Who of Professionals, started his own business, become financially adequate, worked with several professional athletes and entertainers, traveled the world and served as a Mental Skills Coach to hundreds.

Now, Marcel is dedicating his life to helping, coaching, mentoring, motivating and inspiring others to find themselves and reach their full potential. Now, he is taking his diverse, rich background and speaking out as a messenger of inspiration, leadership and truth.
